Gear List

Rods

  • 7 or 8 weight for redfish

  • 8 or 9 weight for snook and baby tarpon

  • 10 and 11 weight for tarpon

I currently prefer the Sage Salt R8 over any other rod right now. I have the 8, 10, and 11 weights in the boat. The castability and pulling power of this rod is unlike any other rod I’ve ever fished. I would highly recommend you go with the Sage Salt R8 for your next saltwater rod.
